Specifications Top-notch sound in all weather conditions Facilities for relaxation and socializing within the accommodation (gardens, verandas, terraces, parks, etc.) are very common and are almost always a real asset for restaurants, hotels, theme parks, villas and tourist attractions in general. Very often, however, little attention is paid to sound quality and you almost always end up with poor quality speakers that are not designed to withstand prolonged exposure to rain, mud and sun. The result is almost always poor and destined for constant refurbishment, because after a summer or winter season you can see how loudspeakers worn out. HELVIA’s GNS-550XGN garden speakers are a compact, durable and high-quality audio alternative, thanks to selected coaxial speakers and materials designed to withstand prolonged exposure to all weather conditions and anti-UV treatment. Superb Audio Quality The coaxial transducer is the heart of the GNS-550XGN. The 5.25” woofer has a polypropylene cone and rubber surround; the tweeter has a 0.75” coil and titanium dome. These characteristics give a frequency response of 60Hz to 20kHz with good uniformity and sensitivity. The position of the transducer at the top of the cabinet with the magnet pointing upwards and the cone downwards, and the presence of a waveguide to balance the horizontal coverage, results in excellent uniformity and 360° horizontal coverage. Large areas can be covered with just one loudspeaker, depending on the sound pressure level required.
